Red sea liveaboard Sept 12

How would you like a week's diving in the Red Sea in September 2012 on board MY Juliet?  

We have teamed up with our friends at Wavecrest Scuba to offer a week's Red Sea live aboard departing on 9 Sept 12.  

The whole trip is just £1075 and includes flights, transfers, 7 night’s full board, soft drinks and 6 days diving. On the odd occasion you may be required to spend your last night in a hotel.

So why not avoid the autumn next year and get yourself some well deserved sun and diving, what could be better?  

This itinerary is a classic Red Sea trip and combines the most famous wrecks of the Red Sea with stunning walls, drop offs and reef diving. The trip includes; diving the 'wreck graveyard' at Abu Nuhas. This reef lies close to the shipping lane of the Suez Canal and has claimed more wrecks than any other. These wrecks are fairly open and covered in beautiful coral, a photographers dream. (If departing from Sharm, reaching Abu Nuhas is weather dependent and cannot be guaranteed).  At the tip of the Sinai and fed with nutrient rich waters from the Gulf of Aqaba is the National Park, Ras Mohamed. It is famous for its breath taking walls and drop offs. It teams with large shoals of fish, hard and soft coral gardens and magnificent fan corals.

Because of the itinerary, the trip is only open to AOW divers and above or equivalent, but if you want to go but are not an AOW  diver we can offer you a 10% discount on the course if you book both at the same time.  

The AOW course is completed in just 2 days and consists of 5 dives, with the associated knowledge reviews, but the good news is, there is no exam.

Dec PADI Open Water course

We will be running a PADI Open Water course starting Fri 2 Dec.


Course dates are 2/3 Dec spare day of 4th for any theory that needs finishing off, then 10/11 Dec.

Winter training

Just because the winter is now well and truly with us doesn't mean you can't do anything.  We have a number of courses that you can do without even get wet.

 When was the last time you took first aid training?  Did you know that this year saw some changes to first aid recommendations? So why not refresh or update your skills.  Completed in just one day you will learn important life saving skills such as artificial ventilation and CPR.  Click here to go to our website for more information on this course.

Or how about learning how to use Enriched Air Nitrox?  Using Nitrox within recreational limits can allow you to extend your no stop dive time and it has also been known to reduce post dive fatigue.  There are no dives for the course, which can be completed in as little as 4 hours in the classroom.  Click here to go to our website for more information on this course.

Winter Madness

Brilliant, only need another 4 "likes" on FB to get to the magic 25, keep them coming and tell all your friends about us.  As much as is possible over the winter, we will keep diving and training, so if there is anything that you want to do, feel free to get in touch.  talking of which, we will almost certainly be running an open water course mid November, so any hardy souls out there who want to learn to dive, or any budding Dive Master candidates, we'll do a winter madness price of £299 for the open water course and £350 for the DM internship.  Now who said Christmas only comes once a year. ho ho ho

Had a very productive business meeting on Friday with Alex, very excited about what we're cooking up, can't say too much at the moment as its still early days, but its looking good.  we'll keep you all posted

Website Updated

Well it took a little longer than anticipated, because we wanted to make sure it was right, we've been tinkering with the website a bit over the last couple of weeks.  We now have the RescuEAN Pods available on the website through our new online shop.  So why not have a look, the pods really are a fantastic bit of kit for the individual diver.  


The clever people at RescuEAN also wrote a PADI Speciality which we have now been authorised by PADI to teach, so you can also learn how to use the Pod properly, so if you want to buy both, we've even come up with a couple of package deals.  Cool ah?

Anyone ever heard of the RescuEAN pod? "The RescuEAN Pod is a life-saving product that delivers Nitrox & decompression gas O2 mixes safely in a constant flow to an injured diver in accordance with the standards of current best clinical practice. It can be used for both conscious and unconscious casualties, as well as those individuals who deteriorate into Cardiac Arrest and require resuscitation prior to the arrival of the Emergency Medical Services." At Evolution Diving we always put safety first, which is why we're extremely pleased to announce that we have teamed up with RescuEAN to offer for sale their life saving oxygen delivery systems. The pod uses standard scuba equipment to deliver free flowing gas to the casualty. So for the individual diver there is no need for an expensive, dedicated O2 system anymore.
